Teaching
Courses, teaching experience, and mentoring across university, community, and industry settings.
I believe education should inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine love for learning. My classes favor exploration over memorization: students are encouraged to ask "how" and "why," and every hands-on activity is tied to a clear learning outcome. For example, students work through self-guided activities to tell multiplexing apart from demultiplexing, and build a reliable communication protocol through iterative problem-solving.
As AI increasingly automates coding, I emphasize computational thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code.

Mentoring
I have mentored 4 PhD students, 3 master's students, and 1 undergraduate student through research projects and conference artifact evaluations. The undergraduate project was supported by a 2025 CURO Research Award. I have also served as an artifact evaluation mentor for ACSAC, and helped establish a Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) student chapter at UGA.
